Gdsodisha is a national level development organization with its welfare projects spread across India.
In terms of non-financial support, we provide guidance, support and help to the grassroots NGOs toward a sustainable development. For example: Our accounts team visits prove highly useful to the NGOs as we also assists them in how they should maintain their accounts and help streamline their processes. Apart from creating communication material for their brochures and websites,
Gdsodisha is an Indian trust and almost all Gdsodisha supporters are Indian or of Indian origin. Gdsodisha funds are deployed in India to benefit underprivileged Indian children and a small proportion is also invested in local causes.
The full-time employees are given regular salaries. We believe that this is important to attract the professional talent we need to manage our activities (and your resources) effectively. It is important to note, however, that Gdsodisha salaries are modest in comparison with commercial organisations.
As an NGO (non-government organisation), we do not receive any direct government funding allowing us to remain independent, making unbiased evaluations of government policies and programmes. The government has also extended certain tax and duty exemptions to us, enabling us minimise costs
Gdsodisha raises the valuable resources we need for our work through:
Gdsodisha on Wheels (a mobile hospital programme) is the flagship healthcare programme of Gdsodisha. In addition, Health is another programme which provides urgent and specialized health services through multi specialty health camps across India.
Gdsodisha e-Learning Programme (STeP) is the livelihood programme of Gdsodisha that trains urban underprivileged youth with market-oriented job skills and makes them employable in the retail and service sector across India.
